Branden is one year old! I still remember not too long ago when Lauren wore the shirt “Big Sister” – it was Sean and Janet’s way of telling us they were expecting a 2nd child. I remembered him lying on his back and learned to kick himself forward. Later, he crawled across our living room with a single arm. For a while, he learned to stand but couldn’t sit himself down. He loved food – both eating and playing in it. He was always curious, always observing everything around him. And now, he is one, time flies!
Lots of friends, family, and kids came to celebrate Branden’s first birthday – given the proximity to Halloween, kids came prepared (okay, so it was the parents) in their color customs!
Always a wonderful feast for the kid’s birthdays! Wouldn’t be a Taiwanese tradition without the pork knuckles and noodles!
