Shinyung and Jeff Wedding - Villa Montalvo

What a beautiful Saturday! Just when the weather was starting to cool off in the bay area and a storm front brought a lot of rain on Friday, this past Saturday was gorgeous and warm. I bet it was a sigh of relief for Shinyung and Jeff on Saturday morning! There was not a cloud in the sky for the entire day!

The wedding was at the beautiful Villa Montalvo in Saratoga, and the ceremony was held in the love temple. The property is located on the slope of the hills filled with trees, creeks, and plants. During the reception, a family of deers were quietly grazing on the lawn as the guests enjoyed their dinner. It was the perfect setting. Also, they were such a photogenic couple - both just could not contain their happiness and always had a big grin throughout the day.

The location was amazing to photograph. I waited until the last ray of daylight to shoot the exterior of the property - Jeff and Shinyung created such a wonderful ambiance with use of candles throughout the property. The warmth of the candle-lit settings contrasted well with the deep blue hue of the sky in that wee hour of sunset.

One of Jeff’s passion is blowing glass - the center pieces were all hand made by him! They were unique and beautiful.
