Christina and Rei Engagement Session: Palace of Fine Arts, Presidio, Ferry Building in San Francisco

Posted May 19th, 2008 in Lifestyle / Engagement

It has been incredibly hot the last few days, and I didn’t know what to expect when Saturday rolled around with record setting temperature down in the South Bay. Turned out I didn’t need to worry - while Mountain View was about 95 degrees when we left the house, the city was a breezy 72 degrees and dropped as low as 61 when we finally wrapped up! Never leave home without a jacket when going to the city of San Francisco, record-setting heat wave or not!

Christina and Rei are from southern California and because of job and school, they decided to move up to the San Francisco Bay Area for a few years. It was great times as we got to know them better and realized we all shared a common passion for good food. We traded a lot of stories about the various restaurants we had tried and we got some excellent recommendations we can’t wait to try!

They wanted to use this session to document their time together here in San Francisco. We shot at the Palace of Fine Arts, the Presidio, and the Ferry Building. It was such a blast working with you guys, and we can’t wait for your wedding at the Athenium on the campus of CalTech in a few weeks.

Jenny and David Slideshow

Posted May 6th, 2008 in Slideshow, Wedding

Peggy here. Jay’s off shooting again, so I’m here filling in for him to share some pictures from Jenny and David’s beautiful wedding last weekend. We were so excited to shoot their wedding, after the fun time we had at their Engagement Shoot last month.

Earlier in the week, the weather was sub par (chilly, rainy, gloomy, …), but come Saturday, mother nature knew there was a fabulous wedding in the planning and graced us with perfect weather here in San Francisco - mid 70s, sunny and perfectly clear blue skies. Quite fitting, as Jenny and David are such a fun loving couple! The wedding took place in the Presidio and then we headed over to Spinnaker in Saulsalito for the wedding reception.

Thanks for letting us capture your wedding day and congrats!

Here it is, the slideshow of Jenny and David’s wedding!

Some of you may know that starting 2009, we will offer a slideshow of your wedding day right at the reception. We will download, compile, and enhance some of the images from the wedding day (up until the reception) and create a slideshow to share with all of your family and friends during the reception.

For this slideshow you are about to see below, the first half (up until the reception) was shown during the reception and the guests loved it!

Another early exit…

Posted May 4th, 2008 in Uncategorized

Well, it’s official now - Sharks are now out of the playoffs. It was an incredible game after 3.5 OT periods, and it was unfortunate we had to come out on the losing end of the stick. They played well in OT, but ultimately it was their inability to kill penalties in the playoffs that came back to bite them.

Now what am I gonna do between now and September when the season starts again?
