After more than a decade together, Lydia and Andy tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, followed by a wedding reception at Dynasty Seafood Restaurant in Cupertino. But before the festivities started, we headed to the Cypress Hotel in Cupertino where Lydia and Andy were getting ready…
First up, some wedding details including the wedding rings – the symbol of marriage – I just can’t not post one! And the beautiful calla lily bride’s bouquet by Lynh’s Florist.

Before heading to the wedding ceremony, we grabbed some photos at the Cypress Hotel in Cupertino.
Then it was off to Hakone Gardens in Saratoga for some more wedding portraits before the ceremony started.
I was sooo excited when Jay told me we were going to be photographing Natalie (a good old friend from college) and Eric … for a couple of reasons. One – I haven’t seen Natalie in probably over 2 years). And two – they’re expecting!! The last time I saw Natalie was shortly after our older daughter was born, and I remember Natalie playing with her and being super good with kids. And soon … they’ll have a bundle of joy of their own!
Nat & Eric ~ I’m so happy for you both and congrats! I’m also so glad you guys could make it out to California, and thanks for being super trooppers (especially Nat)… walking all the way out to the end of Baker Beach, plus trekking it all the way up to the windy top of Fort Point for these photos!
Love this photo! But I should also be honest and admit I was shaking and holding my breathe while Jay was taking this … standing on thin ledges beyond the railings with absolutely nothing in front of below him for way too many feet. (Clearly, he doesn’t have a fear of heights and I do … just looking down! =P)
I’m so excited to be sharing Sharon and Kei’s wedding with you today. This was one of those weddings where every time I heard a little bit more about what was being planned, I got more and more excited! The funny thing is, Sharon and Kei are so laid back, and discussions about their wedding were always very easy going. But, little details would come out bit by bit as we chatted over the months leading up to the wedding, and I have to say, Sharon and Kei pulled together an absolutely amazing and gorgeous wedding! Thanks to all the great vendors for making their day extra special and beautiful!
We started off the day at the ultra modern Hotel Vitale in San Francisco. Sharon had a gorgeous corner suite overlooking the Embarcadero.
Absolutely LOVE the bouquets that Spiral Hand Designs created … gorgeous calla lily bouquet with feathers for the bride and a perfect bundle of tulips for the matrons of honor.
They thought of every last detail, including a special color for their baby, Casey!
And here’s the gorgeous bride all made up and ready to go! (Did I say I love the feathers accompanying the calla lilies already?!?!)
Sharon ~ if we didn’t tell you this enough times on your wedding day, you were an absolutely stunning bride! It might the wedding day, but these guys had tons of fun along the way too…
Then it was into the limo … and off to take pictures around town.
Pier 5 …
Fort Point …
And yes, it was freezing up at the top of Fort Point … but we had perfect blue skies and 100% view of the Golden Gate Bridge. (Thanks for being troopers in the cold cold wind up there!)
Sharon and Kei ~ Thanks again for inviting us to capture your special day. It was our honor to be present to capture the day as it unfolded. Congrats on a beautiful wedding and all the best to the both of you!

Claudia and Ron tied the knot last month at the Ralston Hall Mansion in Belmont, California. It all started at the Sofitel Hotel in Redwood City where Claudia got ready. With the help of the following talented vendors, the day turned out absolutely gorgeous for this couple.
Finishing touches before he sees her for the first time …
The first look – sheer happiness!
And some portraits around Ralston Hall! I never get tired of shooting around all the different chandeliers here! Love it!
Claudia and Ron help their wedding ceremony on the expansive green lawn in front of Ralston Mansion. It was a beautiful day!
Then it was back inside their ballroom for the reception. Love the chandeliers!
Claudia and Ron – Thanks for inviting us to share in your wedding day! It was an honor capturing your day as it unfolded and we wish you both all the best!
