Details … details … details … Brides and grooms often spend hundred of hours researching and planning the “look” for their wedding. From the color palette for the wedding, to the venue, flowers, wedding invitations, dress, cake, bridal party attire, shoes, table linens, lighting, … phew. The list goes on and on. It’s definitely a lot of work, but when it’s all put together, it’s so worth it! I absolutely love all the details that a couple incorporates into their wedding, no matter how big or small. Whether it’s the grand flowers on your altar or a keepsake from your grandmother tied onto the wedding bouquet, we strive to capture the beauty in the details incorporated into every wedding. St. Catherine of Siena, Hotel Sofitel San Francisco, San Mateo County History Museum Wedding Photography: Kathryn and Justin

Kathryn and Justin tied the knot at a beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Catherine of Siena in Burlingame followed by a gorgeous wedding reception at the San Mateo County History Museum last month. From the moment I met Kathryn, I knew this was going to be a gorgeous wedding. This was further evidenced at her parents house, where the girls were getting ready. As I was shooting all her wedding details, she peered over and said, “I can’t wait to see all the detail photos!”. In addition to capturing the story of a couple’s wedding day, we spend a good amount of time during preparations capturing various wedding details. After all, the couple most likely spent hundreds of hours deciding on what details to incorporate into the wedding. I personally *love* details, and it’s always great to hear when our clients do too .

Details, details … Vera Wang shoes, University of Oregon wine glasses and garter.Although they live in Florida now, they came back to California, where Kathyrn grew up, and said their vows at St. Catherine of Siena in Burlingame. Beautiful church with stained glass windows …Red roses & red dresses on the girls …
After the wedding ceremony, we headed over to Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City for photos of the bridal party. I love the modern decor of this hotel ~ It makes a great backdrop for wedding photos!

We’ve got normal smiling pictures of everyone, but those don’t tell the full story. This was such a fun bunch as you can see here … just be careful who you mess with =P.

Kathryn ~ you are absolutely stunning!After the bridal portraits, we headed to the reception at the San Mateo County History Museum.

We had been looking forward to Keryun and Duke’s wedding since we shot their engagement 2 months ago, and what a stunningly gorgeous wedding it was! The ceremony and reception were both held in the main ballroom of the Ralston Hall Mansion in Belmont, but the day started at Hotel Sofitel in Redwood Shores.
