First up, some wedding details including the wedding rings – the symbol of marriage – I just can’t not post one! And the beautiful calla lily bride’s bouquet by Lynh’s Florist.

Before heading to the wedding ceremony, we grabbed some photos at the Cypress Hotel in Cupertino.

Then it was off to Hakone Gardens in Saratoga for some more wedding portraits before the ceremony started.

We started off the day at the ultra modern Hotel Vitale in San Francisco. Sharon had a gorgeous corner suite overlooking the Embarcadero.

Absolutely LOVE the bouquets that Spiral Hand Designs created … gorgeous calla lily bouquet with feathers for the bride and a perfect bundle of tulips for the matrons of honor.

They thought of every last detail, including a special color for their baby, Casey!

And here’s the gorgeous bride all made up and ready to go! (Did I say I love the feathers accompanying the calla lilies already?!?!)

Sharon ~ if we didn’t tell you this enough times on your wedding day, you were an absolutely stunning bride!It might the wedding day, but these guys had tons of fun along the way too…

Then it was into the limo … and off to take pictures around town.

Pier 5 …

Fort Point …

And yes, it was freezing up at the top of Fort Point … but we had perfect blue skies and 100% view of the Golden Gate Bridge. (Thanks for being troopers in the cold cold wind up there!)

Then it was back to the James Leary Flood Mansion for the wedding ceremony.

I love how the wedding place cards by olio style were incorporated into the bamboo pond arrangement designed by Spiral Hand Designs! 

The combination of metallic pewter textured linens with black chivari chairs really makes the room pop!

And we can’t forget the gorgeous cake by The Cake Maker! 

And yummy yummy food and desserts catered by Betty Zlatchin Catering.

The portrait session of the wedding day is the one time of the day where we work with you, the bride and groom, directly to capture the formal, witty, gorgeous, playful … most importantly we try to capture the essence of … you. People often think of wedding portraits as just the “formal” pictures that you’ll keep for the rest of your lives. And yes, we do take “formal” pictures, but we also look for those genuine emotions and interactions that speak to who your are as a couple.

If you follow our blog, you know we love rings by now!  And details too … so let’s kick things off with a ring shot! (Love the purple/violet rose!)

Most of the times, brides are getting ready indoors, but since we had the full venue to ourselves, we decided to grab a dress shot against the barn! And how about this gorgeous bouquet by Flowers by Edgar? Love the super bling on here! 

Christine, you were an absolutely stunning bride. And I love the intricate details on Ryan’s bouquet!

When the guys arrived at the venue in the morning, they kicked things off with a group chest bump! With that type of early morning pow-wow, we knew it was going to be a fun fun day!

You can see the joy, love and happiness in their eyes, …

but they certainly weren’t hesitant to enjoy themselves and have some fun on their wedding day!

You can see the tears in Ryan’s eyes as Christine is walking down the aisle …… and a tear jerker for much of the bridal party (and audience too) …

If you do a survey on wedding colors, purple definitely tops the chart this year! And yes, this wedding has a base purple color also, but I absolutely LOVE how they mixed it up by pairing purple with orange.

Purple + Orange. This is definitely not a common color pairing, but I am in love! It is so colorful and vibrant, and Flowers by Edgar did an awesome job fusing these colors together and transforming Chateau La Joye into a gorgeous backdrop for their wedding ceremony and reception. Feast your eyes on some beautiful details, including wedding day stationery by olio style.Can’t forget about the photo booth by the guys at The Laugh Box! Guests were having so much fun in here, pictures were coming out all night!After the sun set, a few night shots with the new Mr. and Mrs … (how cute is their cake topper!?!)Like we saw from the onset, this crew knows how to party … and into the night they did …
